To ensure you receive all incident updates we suggest you subscribe to this page using a non-SMX filtered email address. You may wish to subscribe via text also.

Server Patching May 22, 22:00 - May 23, 00:00 NZST
SMX will apply routine software updates to our NZ infrastructure platform. This may result in minor service disruption with some clients being disconnected. Any affected clients will be able to reconnect immediately, and in our experience, most will do so automatically. In addition, there will be two periods of outage for the SMX3 administrative portal of approximately 5 minutes each.

Scheduled - To remain current, obtain bugfixes and performance improvements, SMX is upgrading the Dovecot software to the latest stable version in the NZ environment.
This change will cause IMAP and POP3 service disconnections, but email clients are expected to reconnect immediately, automatically.

Scheduled - SMX will perform routine patching of servers at our Australian primary site. During the advertised window there will be a few short periods of disruption to mail services, during which time some clients may be disconnected. Affected clients should be able to reconnect immediately, and in our experience, most will do so automatically.
