SMX updates this page when there is any customer impacting incidents and scheduled maintenance.

To ensure you receive all incident updates we suggest you subscribe to this page using a non-SMX filtered email address. You may wish to subscribe via text also.

Please note if you subscribe via text you will only receive a notification when an incident is created and resolved. You will not receive notifications for updates. You may wish to subscribe via email as well or visit this page during the incident for updates.

As this page is external to SMX we will still be able to update you in the case of SMX service disruption.

Scheduled - SMX will perform network maintenance at our New Zealand primary site between 9pm and 12am, Saturday, 8th December 2018. This may result in a short period (less than 5 minutes) of disrupted access to inbound and outbound filtering, mail hosting services, and the SMX3 administrative portal. Inbound and outbound email delivery will work as normal via our secondary site.

Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

Scheduled - We are performing a major upgrade of the configuration backend that supports the SMX Filtering and Hosting services. To prevent any changes from occurring while the software is upgraded, the SMX3 administrative portal will be shut down for the duration of the upgrade. The change will also prevent hosting customers from changing their passwords or modifying forwards via Webmail. Any attempt to do so will result in a prompt informing the user that the functionality is currently unavailable. Mail filtering & hosting services will be subject to connection disconnects which will re-establish transparently, but otherwise mail flow is unaffected.

Scheduled - SMX will upgrade the infrastructure components at our New Zealand secondary site between 9pm to mid night, Monday, 26th November 2018. This may result in two short periods of disrupted access (for less than 60 seconds each) to the inbound and outbound filtering services. In our experience, there will be little or no customer impact as the vast majority of traffic is through the New Zealand primary site.
